Hi, I’m Joanne! A fashion designer, pattern maker, and sewer.

I’ve always loved making my own clothes and giving new life to vintage textiles, turning forgotten materials into thoughtful, one of a kind pieces. There’s something special about working with fabric that already has a history and making it into something new.

After spending over a decade working in the fashion industry, I realized I was missing the most important part, making things with my hands. I’ve always been a maker at heart, not just someone designing behind a screen. In 2020, I took the leap to follow that feeling and return to hands on creation.

As interest in upcycling and handmade goods grew, I spent several years creating and selling my work through in person markets and online, from 2022 to 2025. Over time, I felt pulled toward sharing not just the finished pieces, but the process behind them. At the end of 2024, I began releasing sewing patterns so others could make their own clothes, slow down, and create with intention.

Everything I do is rooted in DIY culture and sustainability. Not perfection, trends, or mass production. As of 2026, I’m focusing primarily on creating educational content and thoughtfully designed patterns, making it easier for people to sew garments they’ll love and wear for years.

I’m grateful to be on this path, and I’m excited to keep sharing what I’m learning along the way.
